Chalet La Luge

After a hard day's skiing you may find shopping and cooking a meal a little tiresome, or you & the children may be too tired to go out for a meal. We can provide 2 course meals, for example: Lamb Tagine, vegetable and preserved lemon couscous followed by frozen raspberry mousse or a rich meat lasagne, green salad and garlic bread, then Apple Charlotte and whipped cream for afters; all you need to do is pop it in the oven to reheat - ready by the time you've had a shower and drink! The catering we offer is all freshly prepared by a professional chef, you need only to decide on which evenings you would like to take advantage of this service, just one night or all 7.

To make things even easier we offer a 'shopping hamper' which will be in the chalet ready for your arrival. We have created a shopping list of essentials, from breakfast items to wine and beer, you choose what you want from the list and we do the shopping for you.

Accommodation

Laid out over 2 floors plus a mezzanine which overlooks the spacious open plan living/dining room - with fabulous wood burning fireplace, comfortable sofas, TV, DVD player and hi-fi
Kitchen - Fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, teapot, and full range of crockery, cutlery, utensils.
Utility - Washing machine and dryer, vacuum cleaner
Large entrance hall - with plenty of drying space and boot storage.
2 Double bedrooms with balconies, 1 with ensuite bathroom
3 Twin bedrooms; extra single bed on mezzanine
2 further Bathroom/shower rooms, with basin and WC

Availability/Booking

Please check availability on the calendar below. Bookings are usually taken from Saturday to Saturday but we are happy to be flexible and will try to accommodate requests as far as possible. You will be able to collect the keys from 4pm on your arrival date and must vacate the property by 10am on departure day. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as this may be possible.

* Prices are quoted in Swiss francs; the other currencies are provided as a guide ony. Payments are made in Swiss francs.

Included in the price:
The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for up to 10 people.

Electricity is charged locally @ 0.3 kW and is normally between 60 - 100 Chf
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please ask key holder on arrival

A security deposit of Chf 300 will be requested when making the booking. This is required in case of damage to the chalet, or if excessive cleaning is necessary. At the end of your stay the key holder will read the electricity meter and take payment for Tourist Tax, please ensure you have enough cash at the end of the week. They will verify that all is OK at the end of your stay and your deposit will be returned to you.

To confirm a reservation a 25% deposit will be required with the full sum due 8 weeks before departure.
