Chalet La Luge

After a hard day's skiing you may find shopping and cooking a meal a little tiresome, or you & the children may be too tired to go out for a meal. We can provide 2 course meals, for example, Lamb Tagine, vegetable and preserved lemon couscous followed by frozen raspberry mousse or a rich meat lasagne, green salad and garlic bread, then Apple Charlotte and whipped cream for afters; all you need to do is pop it in the oven to reheat - ready by the time you've had a shower and drink! The catering we offer is all freshly prepared by a professional chef, you need only to decide on which evenings you would like to take advantage of this service, just one night or all 7.

To make things even easier we offer a 'shopping hamper' which will be in the chalet ready for your arrival. We have created a shopping list of essentials, from breakfast items to wine and beer, you choose what you want from the list and we do the shopping for you.

Accommodation

Large open plan living room - with fabulous wood burning fireplace, comfortable leather sofas, flat screen cable TV, DVD player and hi-fi
Ess-Ecke Dining - Enjoy the fantastic mountain views from the dining table (seats 8)
Kitchen - Fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, teapot, and full range of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment.
Utility - Washer dryer, ironing board/iron, vacuum cleaner
Large entrance hall - with plenty of drying space and boot storage.
2 Double bedrooms with balconies
2 Twin bedrooms;
Bathroom (1st floor) with bath, shower, basin and WC
Shower room and WC & basin(ground floor)
Dining outside in summer - Garden furniture and BBQ are available for making the most of the patio and garden area in warmer months.

Availability/Booking

Please check availability on our calendar below. Bookings are usually taken from Saturday to Saturday. You will be able to collect the keys from 3pm on your arrival date and must vacate the property by 10am the following Saturday. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as this may be possible.

* Prices are quoted in Euro; the other currencies are provided as a guide ony. Payments can be made in Swiss francs, Euro or GBP sterling, payments in GBP or Chf will be calculated on exchange rate at time of booking.

Included in the price:
The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for up to 8 people. The price also includes the cleaning of the chalet, although we do ask that you leave the chalet tidy.

Electricity is charged locally at 0.3 Chf per Kw.
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please ask when booking or can be arranged with key holder on arrival

A security deposit of Chf 300 will be requested when making the booking. This is required in case of damage to the chalet, or if excessive cleaning is necessary. At the end of your stay the key holder will read the electricity meter and take payment for Tourist Tax, please ensure you have enough cash at the end of the week. They will verify that all is OK at the end of your stay and your deposit will be returned to you.
