Chalet La Luge

After a hard day's skiing you may find shopping and cooking a meal a little tiresome, or you & the children may be too tired to go out for a meal. We can provide 2 course meals, for example, Lamb Tagine, vegetable and preserved lemon couscous followed by frozen raspberry mousse or a rich meat lasagne, green salad and garlic bread, then Apple Charlotte and whipped cream for afters; all you need to do is pop it in the oven to reheat - ready by the time you've had a shower and drink! The catering we offer is all freshly prepared by a professional chef, you need only to decide on which evenings you would like to take advantage of this service, just one night or all 7.

To make things even easier we offer a 'shopping hamper' which will be in the chalet ready for your arrival. We have created a shopping list of essentials, from breakfast items to wine and beer, you choose what you want from the list and we do the shopping for you.

Accommodation

Large open plan living room - with modern wood burning fireplace, comfortable sofas, large flat screen TV, DVD player and hi-fi
Dining area - social dining at the circular table
Kitchen - Fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, teapot, and full range of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment.
Utility - Washing machine, vacuum cleaner, ski/board storage
Large entrance hall - with plenty of drying space and boot storage.
3 Double bedrooms, 2 with balconies
1 single or twin bedroom;
2 sofa beds in living area;
Bathroom (1st floor) with bath, shower, basin and WC
Shower room and WC & basin(ground floor)

Availability/Booking

Please check availability on our calendar below. Bookings are usually taken from Sunday to Sunday. You will be able to collect the keys from 3pm on your arrival date and must vacate the property by 10am the following Sunday. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as we will try to accommodate everyone's wishes.

Please note: this chalet is non-smoking, please only smoke outside and use the 'gravel' pots provided to dispose of your cigarettes.

* Prices are quoted in Chf; the other currencies are provided as a guide ony. Payments to be made in Swiss francs.

Included in the price:
The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for up to 10 people. The price also includes the cleaning of the chalet, although we do ask that you leave the chalet tidy.

Electricity is charged locally at 0.3 Chf per Kw.
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please ask when booking or can be arranged with us on arrival

A security deposit of Chf 300 will be requested on arrival. This is required in case of damage to the chalet, or if excessive cleaning is necessary. At the end of your stay we will read the electricity meter and take payment for Tourist Tax, please ensure you have enough cash at the end of the week. We will verify that all is OK at the end of your stay and your deposit will be returned to you.
