Chalet Des Coeurs - self catered, sleeps 8

Chalet des Coeurs is a 4-bedroom chalet, in the village of La Tzoumaz with ski in, ski out access. Only 3 years old, it is a modern build with a traditional wooden exterior, lots of windows to maximise the stunning views of the Rhone valley and Bernese alps. It has a spacious interior, beautifully decorated and well equipped by the owners. It can accommodate up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms, there are 2 bathrooms, huge open plan living/dining room and kitchen. With everything you need and in a great location, it is a fantastic chalet for both summer sun and winter sports holidays.

Set amongst mature trees in a peaceful location, yet convenient for local shops and restaurants, approx 15 minute walk to village centre. Level parking for at least 2 cars. 10m from the blue piste which gives access to the lifts and the whole ski area.

Have a holiday from the cooking too! We offer freshly prepared 2 course meals. For example, Lamb Tagine, vegetable and preserved lemon couscous followed by frozen raspberry mousse; or a rich meat lasagne and green salad, then Apple Charlotte and whipped cream for afters; all you need to do is pop it in the oven to reheat - ready by the time you've had a shower and drink! The catering is by a professional chef, so if you have dietary requirements, just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them or make alternative menu suggestions. You need only to decide on which evenings you would like to take advantage of this service, just 1 night or the whole week.

Kitchen - Fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, teapot, and full range of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment, cheese and meat fondue.
Shower room with WC & basin
Utility/ski room - Washing machine, ironing board/iron, vacuum cleaner. Accessible from both interior and exterior
1st Floor:
2 Double bedrooms with balconies and built-in wardrobes, hairdryer
1 Twin bedroom, some height restriction, double aspect windows
1 bunk bedroom, double aspect windows
Bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC

Dining outside in summer - Garden furniture and BBQ are available for making the most of the patio and beautiful garden area in the hot summer months.

Availability/Booking

Please check availability on our calendar below. Bookings are usually taken from Saturday to Saturday. You will be able to collect the keys from 4pm on your arrival date and must vacate the property by 10am the following Saturday. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these days/times as this may be possible.

* Prices are quoted in Swiss francs; payments to be made in Swiss francs.

A 25% deposit confirms the booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. We take credit card details to cover damage or excessive cleaning.

Included in the price:
The price shown for the week includes quality bed linen and towels for up to 8 people. The price also includes the cleaning of the chalet, although we do ask that you leave the chalet tidy.

Not included:
Electricity is charged locally at 0.3 Chf per Kwh. The meter will be read on your arrival and again on your departure.
Firewood is available (to be paid locally) please ask when booking or can be arranged with us on arrival
Tourist tax (2chf per night per adult, 1 chf per night per child ages 6 - 16; 5yrs and under - free)

Spring/Summer/Autumn

The chalet is also available for rent in the summer months. The mountains are a beautiful, green, flowery & tranquil place to be in the summer. Plenty of walking or hiking routes, mountain biking for the more energetic, time for relaxing in the garden, visiting local small producers for wine tasting, and stunning views all around. We are always pleased to supply information or suggest other things to do.

We are also able to arrange:

  • Bespoke artist, vineyard/wine-tasting and corporate events
